|Objectives:This unit is principaly taught by professional from national and local conservation organisations and ecological consultancies that introduce the roles of authorities, associations, company in the management and valorisation of ecosystems: Vienne Nature, Conservatoire Régional des Espaces Naturels (CREN), Office National de la Chasse et de la Faune Sauvage (ONCFS), Centres Régionaux de la Propriété Forestière (CRPF). Beyond the knowledge of the functioning of ecosystems. The students discuss the interests of protecting areas and conservation strategies in the frame of national and international regulations: Natura 2000, Mesures Agri-Environnementales Territorialisées (MAET), Contrat Territorial dExploitation (CTE), Contrat dAgriculture Durable (CAD)

Outcomes:By sharing the experience of various professionals in the field of ecosystem management, the aim of this unit is to analyze the different components of one ecosystem from natural to anthropic and to be able to propose different restoration and management protocols. The student should be able to define the appropriate measure in a local situation.
