Objectives:Understanding the mechanisms governing genetic variability in natural populations. Molecular tools to study evolution and conservation of biodiversity variation in natural populations. Outcomes:Student will understand the evolutionary forces structuring populations and their implications for conservation. Student will be sensibilized to current fields of advanced research in ecology. Student will be able to use molecular tools: DNA extraction, multiplex PCR, Molecular markers.
