|Objectives:Resource economy: Principles of inter-temporal resource allocation, public and private goods, externalities, property rights, non-price evaluations systems, mathematical and statistical modelling of resource use and evaluation, taxes and governmental regulation as instruments for influencing efficiency of management measures. Will be discussed with the help of national and international case studies. Basic in economy: International trade theory and policy, regional integration, free movement of capital, migration. growth theory and policy. Monetary, fiscal and exchange-rate policy in public economy. European Union, World bank, International Monetary Fund, etc. |
Outcomes:Resource economy: Students are familiar with basic interaction between ecological and economical systems. They know economical approach for the management of renewable and not renewable resources as wells as the interdependence, which results from the competitive use of resources. They are able to consider these concepts when designing integrated management concepts for the use of resource. Basic in economy: Student learn the basic relations open economy and are able to identify economical problems on a national scale and to consider these while designing management measures for environmental matters.
